I’ve been trying to process this story all morning and have been feeling pretty bummed. I don’t know why I should feel even slightly surprised, but Google’s oft touted motto of “Don’t be evil” is clearly just bullshit. I’m honestly disappointed, which I thought I was too jaded to be.

I did go ahead and sign the Save the Internet petition and email my congress reps, not that it will do much good living in Texas.
