Jacob brings us a little truth…

So–

Darlton: “Remember when you all were like, ‘They’re in purgatory!’ and we said, ‘Pssh… That’s stupid.’  Well, lol, just kidding. They’re in purgatory.  Oh, look, Magic Light!”

Seriously, the worst single episode of television I’ve probably ever seen.  What you basically have is a TV show which was winking the whole time that, while crazy things were going on, they’d be explained in rational terms.  And then two episodes ago, there was Magic Light.  This is beyond inane.

I’m off to troll the comments on the AV Club, where they usually have a much better mix of snark and witticism than I can provide by myself.

But, seriously, if you’ve never seen Lost, I’d say, don’t bother.
