After playing several games of chess on Facebook (against Estragon) and against the relentless computer on Chess.com, I can now say, with confidence, that I am no good at chess.  I’m really bad.  I suck.  I can’t think more than a couple of moves ahead.  I have no strategy.  I’m impulsive and don’t think things through. “Ha, I got your rook!”  “You’re in check now.”  “Damn.”

I wish that I could say I was better at Scrabble, but I suck there, too.  I do what people always do when they lose at Scrabble, I blame my letters. How many words could you make with four “I”’s, an “A”, “N”, and “B”?  Exactly.

Anyway, off to Wikipedia to read up on chess openings.
