Vlad is going on hiatus.

We’ll be taking the month of December off and will be back in January with a new long form comic based on Blood Lincoln.

I know, my maturity is showing.

You know that’s how it really would’ve gone down, sticking a surfer on a magic board that can go through space.

Every year this thing kicks our ass.

You can only clean snot off a thousand dollar graphics tablet so many times before you decide it isn’t worth it.

I got it. And it’s awesome.

For those that aren’t aware of Texas weather, it was 102 today, just a few days shy of October.

This whole thing reminds me of that Simpsons episode where the corporate guy wants to create a new holiday, and he tells the board, “We’ll call it Love Day, or something not so lame.” And the next scene is Homer saying, “Happy Love Day everyone!”

When taking a leave of absence, however small, its always best to put someone completely inept in your place. Upon your return, no matter your own competence level, everyone will be thrilled to have you back.

Who are we kidding. Nobody knows who Magritte is. Looking at you, America.
