Chupacabra Strikes

Since the Chupacabra/Poodle is the star of today’s strip, I thought I would share a story about my dog. My dog, Ninja, is a toy poodle and the model for Chupacabra. She’s pretty awesome all around, but the other day she amazed me and truly earned her name. We were walking in the park and the came to a lamp post, that I guess was the dog version of the New York Times. After sniffing for a long time, she flips up into a hand stand and proceeds to crap on the vertical surface. Normally I am a stickler for picking up my dog’s poo, but I was too shocked/proud of her. She fought the law (of gravity), and she won. Well done pup.

In other news, I am also excited about the Nobel announcements (woot Obama) and the water on the moon, but didn’t want to increase the maturity level of this site too much.

lala

Just found this music service online and thought that it was pretty nifty. lala offers two levels of purchase: web albums and downloadable content. The web albums are super cheap and let you access the music anywhere you have fast internet and a modern browser. I’ll be honest, I’m not 100% sold on the web albums, since you loose access to the content if the website ever goes away or you loose your account (not sure how that would happen). The albums are cheaper than iTunes though, and the selection seems pretty decent. You can also preview the entire song / album 1 time before making a purchase (rather than the 30 second preview on iTunes). If you sign up you get 25 free web songs, which is pretty cool, and if you use my link I get 5 free songs too. So do that.
