Panel 1:
Xeno and Estragon, playing chess
Xeno: Don't feel bad that you're losing to me. Plebians usually do. I've mastered this game. Studied it. Made it my life's work. I did de Klerk's opening. What could you do? So you shouldn't feel bad that I'm handing you your ass.
Panel 2:
Xeno and Estragon.
Estragon: When you can't move your king, that's checkmate, right?
Xeno: For the millionth time, yes.
Estragon: Then I'm pretty sure your king's not going anywhere.
Panel 3:
Xeno and Estragon
Xeno: How is this possible?
Estragon: You'll find that your endgame leaves much to be desired.
Xeno: Damn you!
Estragon: Oh, and you're my bitch.

I’ve noticed that Xeno is now a dusky gray, as opposed to his previous white and cream incarnation. Is this for a reason or do his bandages need to be changed?
It’s because the artist gets bored, mostly. The stark white felt to plain, and the cream colors were to yellow next to the green and orange sweater. Really none of the character designs are set in stone, and I draw them however ‘feels’ right at the time.
