The English Patient Part Deux

The English Patient Part Deux

That’s the problem with movies.  Whenever one comes out based on a book, they always release a “movie tie-in” version.  Why is this annoying?  Because then it seems as though you’re only interested in the book because of the movie.  And then people judge you.  Hm.  Maybe I’m reading too much into this.

Panel 1:
Xeno and Bovary
Xeno: You said women like understanding, love, and patience--and that stuff's all in The English Patient.
Bovary: You can't claim all of that just because you're reading the book.

Panel 2:
Xeno and Bovary
Xeno: You're right. This reminds me of when Ralph Fiennes' character leaves that chick in the cave to go and get help.

Panel 3:
Xeno and Bovary
Bovary: You watched the movie.
Xeno: Yes, but I've bought the book.
