This is a situation where I am totally trusting Xeno that the comic makes sense. I know pretty much nothing about Coldplay. This is not an indie rock thing, where I stopped liking them when they got big or something, I’ve just never liked them.

There is one thing I know about them, my wife somehow associates the band Coldplay and Spoon with one another. So when Coldplay comes on the radio, she asks “Is this Spoon?” Then I have an aneurysm. It is now comical to me, but for awhile it honestly offended me a bit because Spoon is a local band from here in Austin.
