After a day of watching way too much inauguration coverage (poor Keith Olbermann, he looks so tired), I’ve found that I have come down with a severe case of the Barack Obamas.

It seems now with everything I do, I start by asking a rhetorical question, and then say “Yes, we can!”

“Can we have turkey sandwiches?”  “Yes, we can!”  “Yes, we can have turkey sandwiches!”

“Can we have tea now?” “Yes, we can!”  “Yes, we can have tea now!”

“Can we overuse this rhetorical style?”  “Yes, we can!”  “Yes, we can overuse this rhetorical style!”

I guess that’s better than after W’s first inauguration, when I giggled at everything and kept saying “titmouse“, over and over again.
