Breaking news! John McCain (donate here) has picked Palin as his VP.

This is a brave choice.  He was never the most popular of the Pythons, and spent most of his time in the shadow of John Cleese and Eric Idle.  Though, to some extent, I always did prefer him over Idle.

In any event, I’m looking forward to seeing his new BBC documentary, Around the US with an Old Fart, once this election is over.  Though I don’t think he’s actually allowed to run for VP, seeing as he wasn’t born in the US.  Gilliam would have been an acceptable choice.

Very rarely is a music video any good.  This one isn’t any good either.  But it is a pretty good song, so I figured I’d include it here.

I picked up their album the other day, maybe I’ll post a review in the next week or so, depending on how lazy I am (hint: I’m pretty lazy).  They sound a lot like Death Cab for Cutie to me, but this video reminds me of OK Go.  I wonder why….
